You can open a Regular Savings Certificate with a minimum balance of $500. Certificates are available with terms of six months to 48 months. We also offer the Prime Savings Certificate, which requires a minimum opening balance of $50,000, and the Jumbo Savings Certificate, which requires a minimum opening balance of $100,000. Our Savings Certificates can be used for your Individual Retirement Account (IRA).

Features of our Savings Certificates include:

  • A fixed dividend for the term of the certificate.
  • Competitive dividend rates (rates tiered by balance). Offered rates may change on Thursday each week.
  • Substantial penalties for early withdrawal. The penalty is 30 days' dividends for certificates with terms of six to 12 months, and 90 days' dividends for certificates with terms of 24 to 48 months.
